Saundra Adams' Body of Work Generally Shows Her Strong Commitment to Family and Giving Back to the Community.
Serving as editor with Fox News affiliate Channel 23 Tulsa gives television news reporter Saundra a chance to inform the citizens of the Tulsa Region about breaking news, events and occasions of singular importance to their neighbors. She was on the scene at a program presented by the MVPS foundation of Oklahoma City, the local chapter of a national program that provides male role models to African-American youth. MVPS projects that as few as 1-2% of Black males who graduate from Tulsa Public Schools are academically prepared for college. Saundra also covered the two-year anniversary of the ambushing and shooting death of Howard “Bud” Studdard, who worked in a downtown Tulsa Rib Crib and lost his life during a robbery staged by three black men, all in their late teens. Saundra's news reporting shows the often tragic results poverty and lack of resources have on this demographic.
